Life Groups

Life Groups are the primary source of community and relationship at Bethel Church.  As our congregation continues to grow, these intimate gatherings of 6-14 people meet weekly or bi-weekly to learn from God’s word, encourage and support each other in Christian living and mission, and practice the 30+ “one another” commands found in Scripture.

Bethel Life Groups aren’t another Sunday School class: they’re intended for community, encouragement, and accountability in living out what you learn, rather than merely providing Christian education in a smaller setting.  Each group chooses their own materials to study and sets their own rhythms of eating, celebrating, serving, and learning together.

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 (ESV)
