6th-8th Grade

Bethel MS (Middle School):

Bethel MS is our 6th-8th grade middle school youth gathering meeting on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. At Bethel MS, students to spend time together worshiping Jesus, engaging with the Word of God, and having fun in a safe and encouraging environment. All students experience worship, fun games, small groups, and teaching from God’s Word that relates to their life. Along with our weekly gathering, you’ll also experience Break Away Nights, special events, retreats, service opportunities and other exciting activities throughout the year.

During the first half of the school year our 6th grade will take a portion of the evening for a special Merge lesson focusing on how they are changing mentally and emotionally as they grow spiritually as they merge into adolescence. Half way through the school year, the 6th grade students will merge into the main Bethel MS teaching time.

Bethel MS Break Away Nights

Students meet with their Small Groups away from Bethel at least once each quarter.  Break Away Nights are designed to help leaders and students to build significant relationships as they live as disciple-makers together. Students take an active role in planning their Break Away Nights, which range from service projects to fun outings.  Small Group leaders will contact students with final details.

Sunday School

Bethel Students Sunday mornings at the LOFT (our smaller building by the southeast parking lot) meets each week from 9:00-10:15 AM.

root    (6th-7th grade)

Root is designed to help students understand that the Bible relates to their lives today and focuses on spiritual growth and character development as they discover the gospel of Jesus in the whole Bible narrative. This class helps establish the foundation for students to, “…set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12b). Root meets each week except Family Sunday, September through May.

priority_1  (8th-9th grade)

Priority One is our core Christian training program covering the basic beliefs and doctrines of the Christian faith. This class covers Bethel Church’s statement of faith and helps students gain an overview of the entire Bible narrative. Students will Priority One packed with training but it is also filled with fun activities, discussions, and more. Priority One meets each week except Family Sunday, September through May.

First Sundays

The first Sunday each month, all students are encouraged to attend worship service with their families and friends.  At Bethel Church, we celebrate Communion (the Lord’s Supper) the first Sunday each month. Communion is a significant time where we gather together as a family of believers remembering together what God has done for us through Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection. We do not offer student classes the first Sunday each month. Instead, we encourage students to engage in the full experience of being part of the Bethel family.

If you would like more information about how to be a part of Bethel MS, join us on a Wednesday at 6:30PM, or contact the church office at 532-7040.
